CAS (Creativity, Action, and Service)

At Saint Anne’s School we have a strong commitment to community service. We believe that participation in community service activities helps young learners develop awareness, concern and compassion for those in need. As we are educating the whole person, our goals are that they learn to work cooperatively and become responsible citizens.

Beginning in elementary school, students participate in activities and projects that are designed to encourage a life-long commitment to helping their community. In High School, CAS (Creativity, Action, and Service) is a fundamental part of the IB curriculum in which students plan and participate in community service activities throughout the year. Some of these activities include, but are not limited to Operation Smile, Fundar, and Escuelita Venezuela Children’s Day. They also collect items to assist other schools and families. Each year, the projects change a little depending on the interest of the students, current events, and other needs as they may arise.
